Trio acoustic panels are available in an 800 × 800 mm format with a 70 mm height. Designed as a three-dimensional PET felt acoustic wall and ceiling panel, Trio creates a continuous rhythmic surface while adding depth and texture to interior spaces. Its dimensional profile allows designers to combine acoustic performance with a distinctive architectural surface treatment.
Trio acoustic panels are installed using a Velcro fixing system and can be applied to both wall and ceiling surfaces. The installation process uses a dedicated template to ensure accurate levelling, measurement and marking before fixing the Velcro components. This system supports a practical and precise installation while allowing the panels to create continuous surface compositions.
Trio has been acoustically tested according to ASTM C423 and EN ISO 354 standards. ASTM C423 is a US standard for determining sound absorption characteristics, while EN ISO 354 is the corresponding European standard for measuring sound absorption in a reverberation room. These certifications support the use of Trio as a PET felt acoustic wall and ceiling panel in interior environments where acoustic comfort is an important design consideration.
Trio has a B-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification according to EN 13501. This classification is part of Trio’s product certification and provides information about its reaction to fire, smoke production and flaming droplets. The certification makes Trio suitable for specification in interior architectural projects where documented fire performance is required alongside acoustic and material considerations.
Trio is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance. The surface can be vacuumed regularly and wiped with a damp cloth. For stains, water should be applied with a cloth without excessive rubbing; if necessary, a mild detergent can be used. Excessive friction should be avoided because it can affect the appearance of the felt surface. The product sheet also specifies that Natural colours are bleach cleanable.
