Arkestra Restaurant, awarded a Michelin Guide Star, combines exceptional dining with refined interior design and outstanding acoustic comfort. Designed by Tayfun Mumcu Interior Architect, the restaurant features an open kitchen and elegant Art Deco details that create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. To support this unique experience, Feltouch developed custom Flat Cloud acoustic ceiling panels tailored specifically to the restaurant’s ceiling design.

Restaurants often face acoustic challenges due to hard surfaces, high ceilings, open kitchens, and busy dining areas. These conditions can create echo, reverberation, background noise, and make conversations difficult. At Arkestra, Feltouch addressed these challenges by designing custom Flat Cloud acoustic ceiling panels that blend seamlessly with the architectural ceiling while significantly improving acoustic comfort.

The custom Flat Cloud panels were specially cut and manufactured to match the restaurant’s unique ceiling geometry. Their sound-absorbing PET felt construction reduces echo, controls reverberation, and lowers background noise without compromising the interior design. As a result, guests can enjoy clear conversations, while staff benefit from a more comfortable working environment throughout the restaurant.

Manufactured from PET felt containing 50% recycled material, Flat Cloud combines sustainable design with high acoustic performance. The custom ceiling solution not only complements the Art Deco-inspired interior but also improves speech clarity, enhances guest comfort, and supports an enjoyable dining experience. By integrating acoustic performance with architectural design, Feltouch helped Arkestra create a restaurant where aesthetics, sustainability, and acoustic comfort work together to elevate every visit.
