Sound Journey Walkthrough

NEW PRODUCTS & DEVELOPMENTS
25+

From 27 to 30 October 2026, Feltouch turned its stand at ORGATEC in Cologne into a route rather than a showroom. Sound Journey Walkthrough led visitors through a series of rooms, each tuned to a different way of working, meeting and resting.

The idea was simple: acoustics is easier to feel than to explain. Instead of lining products up on a wall, the stand let people step from an open, lively space into quieter, more focused rooms and notice the change themselves. Craft, material, flow and sound were the keywords behind every room.

Along the way, Feltouch presented more than 25 new products and developments, three new colours in its Mandarin range, the first presentation of a biodegradable acoustic panel, printed felt surfaces that imitate other materials, and two new digital tools for architects and designers.

A ceiling that moves like sound

Long ribbons of blue felt ran across the stand, rising, turning and falling like a sound wave drawn in the air. The custom Wave Baffle set the rhythm for the whole walkthrough. It guided visitors from one room to the next while absorbing the noise of a busy exhibition hall overhead.

It also showed what Feltouch does every day: shaping felt into forms that are made for a specific space, not taken from a catalogue.

Tondo and Block

Tondo is a suspended acoustic divider: round felt bodies threaded onto steel cables, hung side by side to form a screen that separates areas without closing them off. Block, from the Cosmos Collection, builds acoustic walls from stacked modules. At ORGATEC it rose in stepped, two-tone forms of white and cobalt felt.

SPACE ROOM

Into the blue

Inside the Space Room, the light dropped and the sound of the hall faded. Walls of deep blue felt with vertical light lines framed a projected film, while a ceiling of Space modules completed the enclosure. It was the quietest point of the route.

INNOVATION ROOM · R&D

From today to what's possible

The Innovation Room showed how Feltouch imagines the future of interiors. At its entrance stood Zero Brick, made 100% from Feltouch's own felt leftovers and bonded without chemical binders. The same thinking led to the first presentation of Feltouch's biodegradable acoustic panel.

Illusion
High-resolution printing turns acoustic felt into wood, corten, travertine or stone. It looks like the material, but it absorbs sound like felt, giving architects the look they want with the acoustic comfort a space needs.

Zero Brick
Made 100% from Feltouch’s own felt production leftovers, Zero Brick is bonded by heat and pressure with no chemical binder. Because its colour comes from the waste mix itself, every piece is unique, with a terrazzo-like surface.

FOCUS ROOM & BAR

Warm rooms, clear conversations

Behind terracotta curtains, the Focus Room offered a smaller, calmer setting built around Ripple. Next to it, the bar area showed how the same acoustic thinking works in hospitality: warm colours, soft surfaces and a room where people can talk across a table without raising their voices.

Thank you to everyone who walked the route with us in Cologne.

The conversations continue, and so does the journey.
